Jared Leto truly stands out in this film. Not only is he convincing as the living vampire, Morbius is a character that should be explored more. The visuals were excellent on key parts. No film is perfect, but it does it’s job as an origin story and hopefully movie goers can appreciate the effort of introducing powerful characters we’ve never seen on the big screen before, and wonder what Sony is up to with their new “Sinister-verse”. It knows it’s in it’s own universe and allows itself to get away with going no holds bar, with striking edge and suspense. Spider-Man villain fans will have a good time taking their date out if haven’t already.
