Tom Hanks is his usually brilliant self. The little girl (Helena Zengel) doesn't say much, but she is hypnotizing; their chemistry is perfect. As their story unfolds, you are totally drawn in. A completely different perspective I hadn't considered about post Civil War reconstruction in the U S. I've already watched it twice within 24 hours. Very well done.
