Just an outstanding show. Halfway through the first season. It is dark, gritty and the attention to detail about the period right after the crash is outstanding. Their treatment of race is realistic as is the very quiet relationship between Della and her woman lover. For interest I read the 1 star reviews. One person hadn’t watched it and the rest were unhappy because it wasn’t with Raymond Burr in black and white. Get some lives for goodness sakes. This show stands on its own. It makes no pretense of aping what was a great TV show. But as in real life, Perry doesn’t come up with the magic answer in an hour.
