I loved it, but was not expecting the emotional punch to the gut. Barbie and Ken interacting with the patriarchy filled me with soooo much anxiety. I laughed along with every joke, but I think so would have enjoyed the movie a lot more thoroughly if someone had mentioned “Ken tries to bring patriarchy to BarbieLand” so that I could have prepared myself for that integration. This will be a wonderful rewatch when it’s out for purchase!! 😁😁😁
