The drama! Oh, The drama. None of the characters are realistic. And, every line of dialog is a study of histrionics. At one point in the movie, the heroine's dad pronounces "my daughter is dead to me" because he found her in a man's bedroom. He even goes as far as conducting her last rites. No attempt at trying to listen to her side of the story.
Then our hero gets her a house and a makeover, and the heroine's crush instantly falls in love with her. They decide to elope, but he keeps her waiting at the registrar. Why? Because his parents forbid... FORBID him. Again, he makes the decision without attempting to talk to his parents.
Couple of days later, the heroine has breakup sex with the hero, and instantly gets the case of post-coital clarity, and runs away.
Turns out she's dying. She has a mystery disease that causes no pain, but is terminal. Of course, she had premarital sex, so she must die. It's a Hindi movie.
The rest of the movie is everyone moping and crying while she dies.
