I am not familiar with the lore behind black adam but as a movie I found it entertaining, with great action, subtle comedy, good casting, and a decent plot. I loved the inclusion of other DC characters. And to be honest, Dwayne Johnson plays a great anti-hero with potential. Within the DCCU i would put his danger level up there with superman easily especially given his knack ruthless violence. One of the best DCCU movies I have seen.
