Great cast wasted in a dull movie.

Honestly I watched because it had Dan Stevens in it and the first time through I wasn't that impressed. However, due to COVID I found myself immersed in books and movies that were downers or forgettable. I remembered the music from the movie and went back for another look. Pop music is not a genre I normally enjoy but these are not normal times. The movie is silly. It gets slow at parts. Will Ferrell goes over the top a bit because he can't help himself. I love this movie. I'm not a Cubs fan but I understand a passion for your team. My husband made me change cities in Southern California so we could get a cable company that carried their games. I have been to a day game at Wrigley and I do admit it was magical. I am a huge Pearl Jam fan and while some dismiss this film as going in different directions, I found it a nice balance.
