I really wanted to like this more but it fell a little flat. It feels rushed and that’s even with some of the iconic scenes being cut, like the Sebastian in the kitchen scene. I hate how King Triton is portrayed. He has no energy. Melissa McCarthy did a much better job than I thought she would tbh. Prince Eric’s ballad reminds me of Bet On It from HSM lol I love most of the music. Overall it could be better but I’ve watched it three times already. It’s a good rendition.
