A show with many layers. Vanessa Bayer's acting shines through her character of Joanna; a socially inept, sweet and innocent young woman caught in a moral dilemma of landing her dream job (as host of a home shopping network) through false pretenses of recurring cancer that she had as a child. Navigating her career through a toxic workplace all while trying to keep up the charade of a young woman fighting cancer, Upon starting, Joanna makes friends with a fellow coworker and mentor, Jackie (played by Molly Shannon). The pair quickly build a strong bond and it's clear that she is the only one who truly cares about Joanna among her fellow co-stars.

Brilliant in every way! One of those films that ends up staying with you.
