First off I am a great supporter of Ron DeSantis as our governor but we can do more for the homeless then spend 14 million to let them sleep on our streets we have several community and county buildings with electricity burning in them and nobody in them those buildings could be used for housing homeless people I don't understand the common sense of the government not using government buildings to house homeless people like a salvation army have them come in at night and leave early in the morning that way they have a bathroom a place to go keep them covered out of the rain and they're not out on our city streets downtown Orlando is spending 30 million dollars to beautify the under i-4 it is disgusting to me to know that 30 million to beautify the underneath i-4 is worth more than human life human life is much more important than beautification of downtown Orlando underneath i-4 underneath i-4 could be used for homeless people and shelter but you're using it to beautify or downtown Orlando sickening to me I have been homeless for 5 years three of my homes have been given to illegal immigrants by Catholic charitiesI have a right to talk about this I am disgusted with the system I am disgusted with the whole situation I have been in the homeless hub in Orange and Seminole county for over 4 years and they have done nothing to help me find a home they have misconstrued their finances they have misconstrued their money they have no way to help me 211 emergency housing system has I've been interviewed twice by them they sent me a 19.00 check because they couldn't find me a home house 1900 going to help me find a home said that they would send me a navigator and someone else to help me locate a home yet I still haven't heard from them from 2021 so here's my thing homelessness is because of who our president is it's gotten worse and worse and worse our economy is through the roof people cannot afford 1700.00 for a efficiency and if they do they have to pack their whole family into that one efficiency apartment can you live off of 900 or $1,000 a month sir not to be disrespectful but I am disabled and that's what I live off of I budget my money I live off of that money I'm trying to buy a house right now so I can have a home of my own not to have to deal with the government anymore the beautification of downtown Orlando and the and the things that you want to do with the homeless putting them out on the sidewalks and then wanting to arrest them if they don't do the right things is sickening and it's disgusting do something else that is right for our country take the homeless off the streets put them in county buildings that are not being used that have a burning up electricity and electrical bills that you're not that you're paying and put people in a closed building so they feel like human beings again thank you thank you just my opinion not just my opinion my doctor's opinion too wondering why you're spending 30 million downtown and 14 million on homeless people you guys got your stuff messed up
