I have to agree with Lily, the film overall was average at best. Not the franchises best effort. So many scenes made no sense, I was sat in the cinema sharing my head in disbelief. It was as though the producers had created a mixture of unrelated scenes that didn't depict any kind of build up or story line. The hairdresser scene, lasted a dew minutes and nothing related to that afterwards. The tennis scene was OK but not that funny. The villians superpowers were really silly and the reason behind not liking Gru was as though the producers just made rash decisions on the story. The comedy side of things throughout was lacking which is a shame as the other DM films have been great. Great for kids who don't follow a plot but for me it was unfortunately not what I was expecting.
