The disparity in critic score and audience score is startling and the fact only the critic score from other rating sites is shown on a google search neatly hides the bitter taste in . The majority of fans hate this film (Based on audience scores on Metacritic and Imdb) that is well hidden thanks to big companies helping each other hide their failures. This film deserves a 0/5, the choices made in creating this script and letting it get as far as production are baffling, the plot is so poor it undermines every Star Wars preceding it and the treatment of it's characters is downright disrespectful. The film takes an established and loved character in Luke Skywalker, totally changes his personality and motivations, humiliates him in front of the audience by drinking green alien milk and getting it stuck in his beard and winking at Rey like a creepy uncle. All of this so the new Disney character can replace Luke. Not to mention Finn who is also humiliated on camera, a promising character from The Force Awakens is now a bumbling buffoon, devoid of any nuance. This is putting it lightly... the film deserves a 0/5, the creators of this clearly either hated the original trilogy of films or never watched them.
