The visuals are, of course, beautiful. I expected that from former Ghibli members. However, the story felt rushed. I felt it had a lot more potential. I liked Mary and Peter; I just wish the story had been more fleshed out.

Oh, this movie is just lovely. It made me cry. Ishida is a character who resonates with me deeply.

One of my favourite movies as a child, I have the concept art book, and it makes me appreciate the visuals that much more. I thought the tiny world the Borrowers lived in was so immersive and beautiful; I liked the relationship formed between Arrietty and Sho. I know some people have problems with the plot not being super thrilling, but this movie has a special place in my heart because of nostalgia. I absolutely love it.
