This is the slowest show I’ve seen yet. I’ve seen snail documentaries that move faster and have better dialogue. The first season wasn’t bad but season 2 is only staying afloat on the basis that the audience doesn’t see though the dragons as the only interesting thing in the show. It has potential but they could have made the last 7 episodes into 3 good episodes and cut out all the boring repetitive sequences. Part of why Game of Thrones worked was because if a character brought up information once and went to tell it to another character it would be implied they were talking about the information but the show would cut to either the next action sequence showing the act of carrying out what the information held or it would switch to another interesting character. House of the dragon likes to say the same thing for an entire episode just in different fonts and then they show a dragon and then credits roll. The only good characters don’t get any real screen time or have died. I’m only watching in hopes that this show gets its act together and pulls through because this is making me lose faith and interest in the franchise.
