Because I love J Anthony Brown and was looking forward to seeing Mr. Brown and Cora return, I was excited about this show but boy am I disappointed!! All of the cursing is entirely too much. After forcing myself to sit through it last week, I thought that this week there would be less of the vulgar language but instead, it seems like they've turned it up a notch. I get it, I'm guessing that the premise is supposed to be that Brown's character is supposed to be a cranky senior citizen, but this isn't a good look. My plan wasn't to watch it tonight (9/16) but I'm trying to hold on long enough to see Mr. Brown, hoping that his appearance will bring some type of redeeming factor to the show.
