I read this series because my kids kept telling me to read it. I loved it - couldn’t put it down. I would say it’s appropriate 13+ but my 11 and 12 year olds read it and loved it. It includes killing but it is well written enough that’s it’s obvious that it’s futuristic and not realistic.
