Evil Dead Rise captures the essence of the 1981 original but evolves into a groundbreaking horror movie in 2023. The new / leading cast delivers the superb acting and it made the family plot more believable. Kudos to Lee Cronin for bringing the gore and creating new space of horror within the confinements of an LA apartment!
