It seems hopeless at first but then you go back and destroy the first stage. For me it was one death so I could now start the second level at 21 and then when I finally beat the second boss I was so happy of course I had to re do it to finish younger and ended up 36. I know I will have to redo this level because that’s too old to finish the game but I went ahead and done the third stage anyway and I beat the third boss and It’s such a nice feeling! I earned these victories. Well anyway this 55 year old man got to go start at level 2 again and finish younger. I’ll have a look in the tower first anyway.
