Not exactly a fan but watched because my family loves Marvel. I LOVED it, even though Spider-Man IINTO The Spiderverse a was way better. Spider Ham is my FAVORITE. ACROSS the Spiderverse is a visual treat: Stunning animation, imagination, musical score and creativity.! Complaint--Pastel colors were repetitive, background scenes were blurred with a watercolor wash, too many fight scenes. Oh, yeah: Hated the ending. Animation is not dead--it's morphing. Don't miss. PS: be sure to see INTO the Spiderverse first. My Grandson is 3. He LOVED IT

A feel-good movie for the whole family. It's about one man's obsession to catch lightening in a bottle. Sonny Vaccaro does catch Michael Jordan and signs him to the historic Nike Air Jordan shoe deal. Jordan shuns Nike in favor of Aididas, Converse. The movie highlights the brilliant strategy to lure Jordan and the genius of Jordan's Mom to hone the deal to benefit to all future athletes. My favorite character is Pete, the Air Jordan shoe designer. At the time of the deal, Nike had $1.3M in basketball shoes sales. Nike sold $162M in first year selling Air Jordan.

I hesitated to bother with this movie. I expected another exercise in Wokeness. I was wrong. This is a movie about genius, fame, emotional greed and a precipitous fall from the top to the very bottom. The first half of the movie is filled with over-your-head discussions of classical music. Don't let it deter you. Kate Blanchett is mesmerizing throughout. She is fascinating in her nastiness. Kate gets her comeuppance. It's satisfying and intense. Oscar quality, for sure.

This movie was so stark and fundamental, it cold have been done in Black and white and with no dialogue. The emotions of terror, determination and Evil incarnate rrquires no words. This was an excellent movie. It avoided Hollywood cliches and went from A (abduction) to B(Survival) in a very staight line. I was very impressed. I could not take my eyes away from the movie for even a moment. OBr
