The minute a knight travels 6-700 years in time you know what to expect so frustrated with reviews that go on a bit cliche, cheesy, lack of story etc. Of course it’s contrived. Point your eyes and if you don’t like it turn it off. It’s a festive bit of fun and compared with others, manages to generate a bit of Christmas spirit.

Enjoying reading reviews from lots of people that never saw the original. If you want to be a purist, don’t refer back to the original musical, but to Shakespeare. This is truer to that. As for all the rest that want to be picky, get a life. No film has it all so get out, sample real life and maybe some of the nuances here might register. Enjoyed the film, but not poor critics.
