I loved seeing this story from Edwards perspective. I thought he seemed at times overdramatic in the Twilight series, but reading the thoughts behind those feelings now illuminates so much about his internal struggles previously glazed over by Bella's perspective. Their love is beautiful iin it's power to overcome familiar first-love anxieties and personal insecurities, while the story mixes in supernatural threats and challenges that bring fun and action to an otherwise sappy, however endearingly, love story. Edward and Bella remain one of my favorite fictional romances, just as heartwarming and heartbreaking a story as the first time, some odd 12 years ago (and a couple times since). #TeamEdwardForever
