I had recently watched this movie with both of my little cousins I in fact was NOT A FAN OF THE SOUNDTRACK. I believe the producers had some errors where the characters stand at. For example, young Hook has he already met Peter Pan? I do know this is a different universe but it doesn't add to the plot t nor the story. In Descendants ONE Maleficent claimed to Mal that by her age she already has curse on Aurora. My question is DID MALEFICENT AND HOOK ATTEND TO MERLIN ACADEMY BEFORE THEIR WICKED WAYS IF SO HOW DID IT HAPPEN. I do appreciate Maleficent and Hades being show some screen time when they were together I do understand they both were very young but do we get an explanation on how young Hades went from there to being a GOD. I understand Hook running off with Ulliana but where do Hades and Maleficent stand with her ? clearly they had to have some reality onto why they are running around with a shrimp like her. From where i was looking at it Maleficent and Hades were just teenagers looking for something to bore in cause clearly they have no respects towards Uliana or however you spell her name. This movie was also very rushed in, I do believe that Cinderella had something to do in this "prank" you can clearly tell., Again most of these songs were not it but I did enjoy Red's song other than that this movie was far from being the worst musical ever.
