A painfully awkward start with a fun strong finish ... just like coming to age as a gay lol. Very formulaic representation of lgbtq+ but not a single trans individual and the main character is a cis white muscle gay but as the show focuses more on the other characters it definitely picks up. Buck is even an entertaining straight character and minority in the cast and might low key represent those straight dudes who are curious or may be secretly more flexible than they think (lol but its not important to his character ... yet) and LOVED Stats character as well as Benji! it didnt really push the envelope as a gay show OR a spy show and kinda just threw together the two tropes in a very typical and kinda campy manner (as well as seeming a little dated) but genuinely enjoyed it and hope they get a second season where most so-so shows really start to shine!
