I don't want to drag this review out, much like the first 5 episodes of this show which have been stretched and dragged to the point where only traves of tolkiens work can be found. Let's set the record straight here, I care not for the colour of the characters skin, I care very little who is cast into a role, my review comes from watching the first 5 episodes of this utterly disastrous show. Characters are unlikeable, particularly Gladariel, I feel nothing towards her but anguish anytime she is on screen, an infuriating, ignorant, rude, obnoxious character. Elrond has been reduced to a bit part political player and the Harfoots are beyond beyond annoying. Leaving their own people behind? Pretty sure that goes against the "no one walks alone" nonsense they spewed. Where is this plot actually going, each episode is filled with cliff hangers and what is essentially an empty mystery box at the end. The dialogue is awful to follow and after 6 hours of viewing, I'm yet to see, or hear any mention of a ring..... I've called it a day, and I'll no longer be watching this nonsense.
