Mine Self

I avoided watching this for ages because I don't watch football and thought it was gonna be only for football fans. Well how wrong I was. It's an unapologetic feel good comedy with a great cast and the most fantastic comedy script. Loved every episode and never enjoyed a comedy as much. Would encourage anyone who like comedy to give it a watch, it won't disappoint.

Great acting by Gary Oldman but Will Young's rewritten dialogue for Jackson Lamb has killed a great character. Sadly even Oldman can't revive the intent of Lambs caustic wit after Young's meddling. Read the books if you really want to experience Mick Herron's brilliant characters in the way he intended. Still watchable because of Oldman but lost a lot of brilliant dialogue because of the poor rewrite.

Dreadful, meaningless drivel. As a fan of the Witcher I really thought that this would be a good show. Unfortunately it was populated by some terrible acting, Lenny Henry being one of the worst culprits but far from alone in his delivery of a poor and erratic script. This is what you get when you try epic on the cheap. Too reliant on CGI at the expense of acting and good dialogue. Witcher fans should give it a miss, you'll ruin the main series in your head if you watch this rubbish. I really don't understand were the good reviews are coming from, they must have posted before the final installment.

Really bad movie. Rubbish acting and dreadful script. Totally fabricated narrative which I could have forgiven but for the predictable narrative. Don't waste your time on it as it's a self publicity piece about Phillipa Langley not the real story of the fact that most people who lived in Leicester knew from the big statue and the plaque nearby, saying near this spot lies the body of Richard Plantagenet. Nuts how film can distort things. Shame on Steve Coogan for being involved in this rubbish.
