Reasons that the original Beverly Hills Cop was entertaining included an Eddie Murphy at his comedic peak, a decent supporting cast, a reasonable plot with dramatic interludes, and a popular musical score for that time. Except for the latter in that good songs remain so, none of the other things were remotely inherent to Axel F. The cast members are now too old and not effective as comedic or dramatic actors. The story is silly with numerous chase scenes, and added verbal vulgarities in the script do not help. I lost interest quite early and did not watch this movie to the end. Moral of this one is don't try to remake something or bring back a poor sequel after such a successful original film.

Poor telling of an apocalyptic story. Other than being a plug for an old sitcom, the movie lacks presumptive explanation and is too contrived.

I am tired of movie critics who exalt movies that are clearly not very entertaining or good. "Hustle" received outstanding reviews and did not fulfill expectations. The story is not creative and plagiarizes parts of other better films. It actually uses a professional player in an acting role to play a promising basketballer from Spain who wants to be in the NBA, but of course has baggage keeping him from moving forward. He is saved by Adam Sandler, a scout who wants to be an NBA coach. Both actors are not very good. Adam Sandler probably performed his best in "Happy Gilmore" because of a strong supporting team including the late great Carl Weathers. "Hustle "was so disappointing, I did not finish watching the movie!

Repetitive and tedious much of the time, ending with a soap opera tragedy. Makeup garish, magnified by too many closeups. Excessive dwelling on Bernstein's sexual preference; We have certainly seen enough biopics with that theme! Not much focus on what was behind Bernstein's creative genius, except for one quote and one line about loneliness. Emulation of speech made it difficult to understand what was being said. I think one of his most innovative works, music for West Side Story, was hardly addressed. Although often appearing forced, Cooper's performance of Bernstein's conducting style was a valiant effort. I don't think there's enough material in this life story to make a good full length feature film.
