I adored this book; it's profoundly moving and takes you on an intense emotional journey. I experienced anger, sadness, and happiness as if I was living the lives of these remarkable women, especially Uju and Chinelo.
One of the things I appreciate most about this book is its portrayal of marriage not being the ultimate goal for women in our society. It challenges the notion that a woman's success should be measured solely by her marital status.
It boldly asserts that women shouldn't endure abusive marriages just because society expects them to 'take care of their husbands'. It celebrates the power and strength of women, showing that they can thrive independently."
