I was INCREDIBLY impressed how good this movie turned out to be. Considering this movie didn't garner much attention when it released and the questionable cast with Andrew Bachelor and Logan Paul, I was expecting cringe worthy humour and bad acting in the likes of Airplane Mode, HOWEVER the direction, the plot, the flow, and the acting in this movie is really up to par with blockbuster comedy hits like We're the Millers or No Hard Feelings. The cast, aside from Logan Paul (Who doesn't have many lines surprisingly), is great with Terry Crews, Devon Workheiser, Method Man, Retta, Josh Brenner, Mike Epps, and more and they all play their characters beautifully. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who likes R rated comedy films.

If you’re a really avid Thriller movie fanatic, do yourself a favor and skip this one. I really wanted to like this movie after the interesting concept of finding “a way out” of a concert when the FBI is searching for you, but there are so many plot holes that form from the unrealistic nature of how the characters interact with each other. The screenwriting of this movie was just plain terrible because characters either made illogical decisions in the movie and/or the conversations between characters didn't feel natural. Yes this does happen in alot of movies, but not even CLOSE to the extent that it happens in Trap. The other thing is the subtlety of aspects of the plot was non-existent and the foreshadowing was completely obvious, like this movie was made for little kids. I’ve seen people online say this is M. Night Shyamalan’s “directing style” and that his movies aren’t supposed to be “super serious”, but the plot from this one is SO far out of reality, that nothing in this “Trap” universe makes sense.
