I’ve really enjoyed the show. Season 2 even more than season 1 somehow. It does have some slow moments spent towards character development, but I think of that as additive

It’s a shame this is so vastly different from the first. It seems pointless to have chests with armors/weapons scattered around the world to find when the mages themselves have better gear by the time you can open the chests. You can’t progress quickly via a speed run because everything is locked behind named mages. Even with heavy armor some of the heaviest in the game you are still ragdolled to your death…even by regular enemies at times. Melee feels like an impossibility by the end game; most mages are doing cancer attacks and you have to spend a great deal of time rolling and praying they don’t endlessly spam a move. Toons have infinite block all while receiving zero damage…while the player blocking causes severe losses of stamina with most weapons still allowing damage through. As someone who’s played both monster hunter, the souls games, and the OG salt and sanctuary; this is a pathetic gimmick compared to those. It is unpolished and unfinished. This game had such great potential but feels as if the developer had zero intention of balancing it. Severe lacking elements: poise mechanic broken, endurance stun locked by enemies with infinite energy that can endlessly block receiving zero damage, skill tree meant to look big and impressive by ultimately just a stat tree that unlocks weapons. Weapon tunic arts on staves and a few others are fun, but as said previously not balanced from one to the next. Channeling rods are severely under whelming as most other ranged elements are. Could’ve allowed for more versatility with charged/rapid shots or at least a two move set for channeling rods and other ranged options. The runic arts is probably the most enjoyable aspect of the game. Melee feels unrefined and will be an absolute slog. The lore is out right boring; the enemies are boring…I don’t understand how this game shares the predecessor it does. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE SHAME as a huge fan of the original I’m in disbelief they used the love of the first to sell this unfinished unpolished mess. There was so so much potential with this game…making it a monster hunter ruined it imo. Could it be fixed? Possibly, would they put in the work to fix it at this point? Highly doubtful. I’m sad I supported this and is yet another failed series I loved akin to fallout 76.

I honestly loved it; truly gives a more genuine feel to Bruce Wayne than in other Batman films. To the reviews saying “emo Batman” , I don’t think someone losing both of their parents, and being slightly less than cheery about it is a bad plot direction choice. From how the shots were filmed to also having more than just action beginning to end I loved it. It had an artistic flair that I definitely appreciated.

I know I’ve experienced some very minor bugs ( ps5 ) , but very minor nothing that completely detracts from the game or even hampers my experience. The game is huge ! And I love it ! Countless fun hours in and still so much left to do and explore. I’m sad that there has been some quite harsh negative comments to the game. With some review bombing it over the Italian language not being included. But should you review a movie poorly because it doesn’t have your language ? I will not speak for them nor condemn them wholeheartedly. All I have to say is if you’re looking for an open world game with a rewarding leveling system that is beautiful with a great story look no further! You won’t be disappointed! I love that they put so much content into this game you truly get your moneys worth; there might be the rare bug here or there, but this does happen in games this size and their response has been amazing. They are on top of it and I have nothing but faith in their abilities to keep delivering.

Not sure at all why this game got such mixed reviews ?!? Honestly thought it was An amazing game between story and gameplay. Sad to see the harsh criticism of it is what led to it not getting a sequel. ( I played this on the ps5 and just finished it so maybe bugs were fixed before I played ? ) Anyways, truly enjoyable game and I would’ve loved to see upgrades to the guns as well as other mechanics fleshed out even further in a sequel. Dying light 2 will have to scratch the itch I suppose.

I have to say from story to game play. this remake feels fresh and respectful of the original. It’s really hard for me to find complaints but the only real ones I have is aeriths writing is a little cringe worthy to me, but maybe that’s just me. It is also very linear but up to that part in the original was no different. The combat is very fun. I don’t know how anyone couldn’t enjoy this game; even if you’re not a fanboy like me, you’ll love it.

End of season 3 thrown together and terrible boring finale, just all around not worth the watch unless you stop after season 2
