Which it is such an excellent series that I am looking forward with great joy to reading it again! Huzzah!! Thank you Patrick O'Brian — I wish you had lived to see your Captain Jack and Doctor Stephen 'come alive' in Peter Weir's most excellent film Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. It was multiple viewings of this film, plus countless and obsessive hours of listening to the music soundtrack on youtube which finally inspired me to get the first book from library. I was immediately hooked and now that I have the pleasure of owning copies of almost all of the 21 books, I shall be able to begin again, with only minor durations of waiting for the library to get in the copies I don't yet have. Two Thumbs UP!! Five Stars!!!!!
