OMG, like, I can't even right now, but I guess I'll tell you why I didn't really like Black Panther, okay? So, like, I know a lot of people loved it and stuff, but, like, I didn't think it was all that great. Here's my, like, totally honest Google review: Yo, peeps, so I went to see Black Panther and, like, I was sooo hyped because everyone was saying it's the best Marvel movie ever, but I have to be real, it didn't totally rock my world. First of all, I get it, it's got a cool cast and all, but, like, the story felt kind of meh, you know? I mean, superheroes are supposed to be, like, all action-packed and stuff, but Black Panther had, like, too many talky-talky parts. It's not a soap opera, right? And, like, I thought the bad guy, Killmonger, was, like, way too one-dimensional. He had this kinda sad backstory, but they didn't really, like, explore it enough. It's all about family drama, and I get that, but it could've been, like, way deeper. Plus, his plan was just, like, ugh, typical world domination stuff, which we've seen a million times. Also, can we talk about the special effects? Some of them were, like, kinda cheesy, especially the fight scenes. I mean, it's a superhero movie, so I expect some epic battles, but, like, the CGI looked pretty fake in some parts, and it took me out of the movie. Now, I know it's a big deal because it's, like, the first superhero movie with a mostly Black cast, which is awesome for representation and all. But, like, that doesn't automatically make it an A+ movie. I'm all for diversity, but I want a good story too. The music was dope, though, I have to give it that. The soundtrack was, like, lit, and it had that Kendrick Lamar vibe that I'm into. And, like, the costumes were totally on point. I mean, the whole Wakandan style was, like, goals. So, yeah, I don't hate Black Panther, but I don't love it either. It's, like, a solid Marvel movie, but not, like, the best one ever. Maybe I just had, like, really high expectations, but I wanted it to be, like, mind-blowing. Anyway, that's my two cents, and I'm sticking to it. #SorryNotSorry 🤷‍♀️💁‍♀️
