No one reads 2, 3, or 4 star reviews so here goes… Survivor is a beautiful game, with lots of story, explorable areas and fun movement. The characters are interesting and engaging, and having a sci fi souls game is nice. It would’ve been a great game if it wasn’t made by EA. The quality control on launch was terrible, and still is. Game breaking bugs still exist in the game all this time later. Plus, despite the effort put in its far overpriced. If anything more money would have been made if it was cheaper and properly bug tested. The collectibles are over done. I would have much preferred a credits system instead of shiny rocks. Even just selling the shiny rocks. Maybe even use the plants you grow to enhance your abilities. My other problem is most of the game is filler. The story moves nowhere, and exploring is effectively useless. Role play is the only way to enjoy most of the game anyway. Regardless, I would still recommend it if it goes on sale or if you have some extra cash to throw around. It is still a fun game despite its shortcomings.

I don’t hate anyone that made this, but it’s textbook bad storytelling. Boring opening sequences, walking shots, and useless conversation seems to be the staple here. Little focus on previous lore, zero world building, and very few action scenes quickly alienate the average Star Wars fan and bores the audience. Plus, many characters feel forced, and elements are made to drive an agenda. The worst part of the whole thing is that the producer and actors are ripping on the fans and in one tweet the director said “I HATE ALL YOU RACISTS.” The worst thing any franchise can do is alienate their customers, and no one wants to see an agenda about real world problems when they are trying to escape reality.
