I am a huge fan of Sabrina Carpenter and that's absolutely a huge reason for me to watch it. Her role actually clings with me. Being an A-star student but couldn't find out any interest apart from studying until she has to dance cuz she needs to get into Duke... This is exactly what lots of students struggling nowadays. The dancing part is reli reli great. I never thought she can dance so so so well and Jordon Fisher's performance just makes my jaw dropped. However, I do think if the audience isn't really into dancing at all, they might find it not interesting at all cuz it's a dance-based film.

I don't understand why the rating is so poor. Maybe I haven't read the books before so I have no comparison, but the movie is so intense. I don't understand why the review is super bad. The one thing I felt unfortunate is Trevor didn't speak out of his mind and I felt bad for him. I know even he did, he won't affect the plot a lot as Tessa is meant to be with Hardin. I hope in the next movie, Hardin could get rid of his alcoholic abuse for Tessa and also bring out a message to the public that we can change our bad habits for someone we love and treasure which will be super good. I hope they will take my advice!
