Beautiful film… great direction and writing. Unsentimental yet emotionally moving. No Cinderella BS in the end… The cast were perfect right across the board.? Unpredictable and a lovely insight into Irish life in the city. These films create film culture. Storytellers need this sort of room to contribute to the wider population. US films are only one style and culture but this sort of film is integral.
