The beginning was promising. There are a lot of errors. Kelly eyes were brown in the beginning, and then it changed to blue later on. Way to much police brutality for my liking. I don't like how law enforcement is being portrayed.. I feel like she isn't that education about when it comes down to law enforcement and the law in general. It seems like they are their police interaction from a TV show or a movie. I can't get past chapter 16. She lost me in when Kelly husband jumped across the table and attacked Adam. I won't be able to finish this book.. I just can't deal with how the justice system is being portrayed. All the cops in this book are butt wipes. I just can't deal with the hostility and the aggressive behaviors from them. Everyone is overly violent for no reason at all. Overall, Jeneva still have a very potential to become an amazing writer she just needs practice and a good team behind her that will help her improve her writing.. This just isn't her best work TO ME! if you like it, I love that for you, but for me, it's not for me.
