In case you are wondering, this is not "a Scooby Doo movie." This is a run-of-the-mill animated kids movie that shoehorns Hanna-Barbera characters. I realize this movie was not made for snobby adults who grew up with Scooby Doo. As a kids movie, SCOOB! is fine. It's clean, it's wacky, it's just fluff. Kids will find it entertaining, and I hope parents will find it tolerable. All these reviews saying there's anything here for older Scooby Doo fans are downright misleading. There's nothing spooky about the setting or storyline. There are too many characters for any of them to be fully developed. There's not even a real mystery they're trying to solve. Don't count on the "unmask the monster" moment either. The best moments in this movie are when it seems to be making fun of itself. Definitely not worth paying more than $10 to watch.
