Any book that glorifies communism as loving and supportive is out of touch with its grim reality. No economic system has lifted more people out of poverty than free market capitalism. We, as individuals, ought to assist and lovingly care for our neighbors as we are able and as needs arise. Once gov’t usurps that role there’s little chance of escaping poverty. I do not recommend this book for this reason in addition to the reasons others already mentioned.
