I keep holding out hope that Disney will create something good. I hold out hope because I loved The Clone Wars Season 7 (mostly), Rebels, Mando seasons 1 and 2, and Tales of The Jedi.
My biggest complaint about this show is that the creation of Mei and Osha through the force steps out of the bounds of Star Wars lore. No other powerful force users, witches, or scientists in the Galaxy can successfully do this. The list includes Mother Talzin, The Jedi Order, Darth Plaguies, Darth Sidious, and The Kaminoan and Imperial cloning facilities. Some random coven of witches accomplishing this makes no sense. If they were so powerful the Jedi would have left them alone, like they do the Hutts and The Night Sisters.
Furthermore, making the Jedi out to be some kind of oppressive police force that takes children doesn't make any sense. The Jedi in George Lucas's Star Wars keep the peace, practice compassion, and fight for what is right. The Jedi are ideal role models. In the prequels he makes a point that even the Jedi can be blinded by their arrogance, but they are always well intended. To portray the Jedi as anything else would be taking a huge dump on George Lucas's vision.
