An excellent film about a very talented actor. I remember meeting and speaking with him at EROS Thatre in Bombay(now Mumbai) in late 1950’s at a German Film Festival held at that theatre. Later saw his Hollywood Debut film The Magnificent Seven where I think he stole the show from veterans like Yul Brynner & Steve McQueen!
Other great performances were in Fanny & Billy Wilder’s ‘One Two Three.’ A non-stop laugh riot, taking potshots at Germans, Russians & Americans. Still remains fresh after almost 60 years.
Thank you, Christopher, for allowing us a small peek into your father’s life. I feel sad that we lost him very early.
RIP, Horst Buchholtz.
