Of COURSE she tried to keep her affair a secret... the puritanical reactions of Jonathan's parent's and Cate's husband demonstrate exactly why she felt she had to try to keep it quiet. The vindictive old man is the perfect caricature of a certain age bracket, many of whom nihilistically cleave to hypocritical outdated mores and are basically choking the life out of the rest of us. Sasha Baron Cohen's character needs to grow up. Any marriage that can weather a brief affair that happened decades ago is no genuine partnership at all. I'm mad that this show has got me fighting mad! JUSTICE FOR CATE! LOL!
