Everyone is complaining about the death of Dewey but not everything is rainbows and unicorns. He’s gotten older, we know a lot about his character already. It makes sense. Not every legacy character has to survive. Yes it’s sad but did you really think they were only gonna kill less known characters? That would be so boring. There would be no emotion or shock value for the audience. I would have to say some things did not make sense/were unrealistic. For example, the hospital scene. How was there only 1 security guard, no nurses/doctor’s, and how was Tara the only patient? I’m also a bit upset we didn’t get to learn much about the new characters introduced and that Tara was basically only in the hospital the whole movie. Like where’s her school or family life? I also wished the mother or dad that left was talked about more and we could’ve actually seen them. Why weren’t they concerned for their daughter’s? Also, the acting at times was a bit off and it was a bit annoying that it took people forever to get up when they fell but I’m mean they’re injured so I understand. I really enjoyed the inside jokes relating to the past scream movies, getting to meet legacy characters, and there were some unpredictable moments or moments that made people seem suspicious when they weren’t the killers. So that was nice! I have a lot of good things to say and a few critics but either way I believe it doesn’t hurt to watch it. It’s pretty nice!!
