To all those saying that "people didn't know it was an adaptation of the musical" of course... because it was not advertised as so. To be fair my friends and I only lasted 10 minutes before walking out so I don't know how the rest of the movie went. In the first 10 minutes they had already broken out into song 3 times and reused so many classic lines from the original but it was just... cringe. And also Regina being introduced by grabbing her breasts and singing "they're real"... just no.
