Elden ring has been really successful due to the time it has came out, a time in which gaming hasn't been much fun and we have been exposed to lots of disappointing releases but compare to other games it lacks a lot, its combat is very generic, combos don't feel good and all around very annoying combat and at times unresponsive, the game isn't for casual players either because of its difficulty and its story is almost nonexciting, its overhyped and definitely not a game which "has changed gaming" its just darksouls + a open world map and a horse. extremely overhyped and honestly not that fun.
