I only started watching in but I just want to put the record straight; there are no tapes of Annielise but there are recordings and pictures, so everything aside from that it's recreated. Anneliese went through years of struggles, during which she managed to finish her studies. She underwent many exorcisms and her kneecaps were damaged from the amount of kneeling she would perform when she was supposedly "possessed". There is no real evidence she was possessed and maybe she was mentally ill. Surely it's a harrowing story

Really? Sorry to don't consider this a "masterpiece" but that's just how I feel. The song is a good country song that Taylor always does oh se well, but the short ..OK, what's the big deal? Sadie may be a good actress but the scene in the kitchen "you dropped my hand" I found it pretty cringy, thats good acting? Maybe for a short video made within the music industry is a good one, I don't know, I think it was average

I watch many horrors, now and I've done for years, I liked it, but I guess it also depends what you want from a horror, I am particularly passionate for supernatural and I don't really care to much for slasher or to much blood, but if the movie is good I don't mind if some blood runs trought it, like this one does, I also try to watch horror from different cultures like Japan, China, Italian (also because that's where I come from) and, like this one, Spanish, Spain have been released some very good horrors, US production can be good and have big budgets but most are predictable and use the same old formula. This movie has a new take on the exorcism theme and the acting is really good, it has some bloody scenes but all togheter I think it was good, good ending as well, watch out for a little extra after the credits

This "Scream" "final destination, "I know what you did..." rip off could be enjoy by a younger audience but not just because youths are involved, if you have been an horror fan for a while there is nothing new here, I spotted the killer in the first 10 minutes, I couldn't be 100% sure but it was confirmed along the movie, aside from few decent moments and a decent cast the serious limitations of this movie are very evident, I also like to know why on earth nowhere of the production team did not realised that the same spot of corn cannot carry on burning for 15 minutes

Mile Flanagan has directed some good movies, Oculus, Hush, Doctor Sleep, his series seams to just have gone downhill, From the superb "House on the haunted hill" to the quite boring but still captivating "The haunting of Blightly House" to now the boring and sometime borderline ridiculous of "Midnight mass", yes we got to know the characters well, yes the dialogue are inspiring and meaningful, but what was Flanang trait of "Horror-Drama" needs to tone down the interminable dialogues and turn up the fire, also now I know why Kate Sleger is always in every thing he makes of lately, he is married to her.
