This movie was an absolute let down. It did not carry on the story from The Last Knight and instead rewinds to 1994 which predates the Autobots coming to earth in 2007 for AlSpark. Optimus Prime is known for his kindness and defensive personality towards humans and instead is portrayed as antisocial, angry, careless and selfish. The movie is a complete reboot/restart and leaves all the good stuff to the end. Some CGI looks like it was done on a tight budget and a lot of scenes seemed rushed in a desperate attempt to keep you interested. SPOILER ALERT AHEAD! Though there is no mention of G.I Joe throughout the entire film, there is a sudden appearance right at the end from a G.I Joe Agent implying a crossover film. As someone who LOVES the franchise and Michael Bay films, this was honestly the most uninteresting and disappointing execution of both a Transformers movie as well as a Michael Bay production.
