Kudos to Maiwenn, JeanneDu Barry is aesthetically beautiful, each scene portrays just how beautiful France 🇫🇷 is. The costumes belong in the Metropolitan Museum. And then “The Love” Of JeanneDuBarry and King Louis XV ( Johnny Depp ) was both heart-lifting to heartbreaking. This was my first for foreign speaking film in a movie theater and I thoughtfully enjoy it. The movie centers around JeanneDu Barry. Maiwenn wrote a splendid scenes play that builds on Jeanne Du Barry life and her deep love for the king. I’m so fortunate to have seen this movie in theaters, where the whole story can come to life. And what a talented actor Benjamin Lavernhe he gently steals each scene. And “ La Borde “ love and devotion to King Louis XV is so heartfelt . Johnny Depp does justice to the King , The King presence is so masterful, the way he stands, the way he stares, proves he is the leader, he is the king! JeanneDu Barry is engaging.
