Ximaine Malaika

This is my favourite Manga/Anime. I have just finished collecting all 13 volumes and it's definitley a must see/read for shoujo anime lovers! What I find dissapointing is that the anime only consists of 3 volumes of the manga and knowing that their are 13 . they should definitley make a season 2 otherwise the anime is kind of dry cause it never shows the plot and end plot. COLLECT THE ACTUAL PAPERBACK MANGA!!!

2 stars may be too little so maybe 2.5/5 and 6.0/10 I decided to binge this last summer and I watched till episode 12 all in one go. then the story started DRAGGING. And I found myself wanted it to end. I dropped at like ep 19 and watched the last scene in the last episode. I like the idea of Korea being a Monarchy in Modern days. I actually liked the scenes between the queen and queen dowager the most. (maybe because I mostly watch saeguk drama) I don't like the Male Lead's character. He just can't decide between the female lead and the second female lead. His looks is all he's got going for him (and even they aren't amazing.sorry) I feel sorry for the female lead. I HATE the second male lead and it's even more annoying how the drama wants the viewers to feel sorry for him. he falls into the Jacob category (if you know you know) the second female lead acts like the male lead is the one who rejected her, when in fact she REJECTED him. So I can't feel sorry for her when she suddenly wants him back AFTER he marries the female lead. the main couple's relationship is so toxic and confusing. does he like her? does he not? but I'd have to say that the male lead plays the leading part of this opinion. they get together in the end. was it worth watching? ehm meh *also this is based off a manhwa which from which i've seen and heard is very complicated and after many volumes the ending isn't even clear* (glad to know i'm not the only one who gave up on the story lol)

I've seen 7/20 episodes. and the couple is so cute (although idk if that's the right word) *if you see the bad guy's assistant (black haired lady) RUN (some of the bad guy's scenes are kinda random)* so anyways, what I really like is that the Female Lead is strong but she's also feminin. We need more characters like this in drama (and irl) I like the male lead too, I'm interested in seeing his character development.

this series became my all time favourite drama in just a few episodes. This is another retelling of romeo and juliet and i have to say that it's most definitely one of my favourite versions (also because it has a happy ending). This drama is centred around the male lead's vengeance for the female lead's father killing his father and brother, and for a while he thinks, that his niece and sister in law where murdered as well. At first he doesn't know seryeong's identity and first thinks she's a princess and then a maid. He finds out who she is after his father gets killed. I won't spoil too much, but it's the best drama i've seen! I love how the ending portrays forgiveness, it made me cry seeing her father glad that they are together (when he thinks that they're dead).
