I watched the entire first season, and it's tough to blame one single thing the show does badly. Rather it's an amalgamation of fantasy rather than science, bad dialogue, boring stories, unlikable characters, and plot holes big enough to park a starship in. All this results in a barely-science-mostly-fictional series that is dull and forgettable. As a long time Star Trek fan, it's a real pity.
