Absolutely love S. King and would confidently say, I have read most of his novels and short stories in my 40 years in this earth. The details of covid times didn’t bother me much - even if it is very much an American view of the events. What bothered me were the mentions of the pharma companies in terms of vaccinations. That may well have been how people in the states conversed about it but I’d not say it was your everyday chat here in Australia (where I reside now) to even ask, not to mention receiving an answer with the exact pharmaceutical company who produced the vaccination you (were forced to) get. That said, I liked the book - thought it was entertaining - until just one too many big pharmas were mentioned.
