Absolutely marvellous read! Mandy Morton does it again with an hilarious read from beginning to end. She paints the characters so colorfully and as a cat lover I can picture everyone of them in my head. Punk Rocker cats! Genius! Mandy writes with such flair and passion that it's hard to put down and the references to musicians and bands in this story are so true I was actually crying, and laughing out loud, through most of this book. I even had to take photo's of some of the pages and send them to my muscian husband who was too howling at the references. The clever word play with names and places continues to amaze and amuse. Loved the build up to the first murder and the twist in the tale was gripping. The loveable Hettie and Tilly do it again and as always I have been left with a desperate urge to move on to the next book in the series immediately... so it's a good job 'Beyond The Gravy' is sat waiting on my book shelf! Be warned however... make sure you have a good space in your diary as once you start reading you really won't be able to put it down! And don't start your No2 FDA journey here... strongly recommend you start at the beginning... and I promise this series will take pride of place on your book shelf for all to read for years to come. My teenage kids love them too!
